Technical Support: Flirt Rewards Errors
As someone who vigorously monitors their Flirt Rewards on a daily basis, I have noticed that this yo-yo of Flirt Rewards Points/Level Ups has been going for weeks now.
As I’ve said on an older post relating to the issue, I find all of this quite amusing as I’m loving that I jump a couple of levels!
I think the level jump is being measured by what would be our Lifetime points overall - not factoring in our activities from the last year.
However, this temporary jump only occurs when first I log on to the site for the day. Then after about 15 minutes of browsing the site/model's room, the level drops to what it SHOULD be at - based on my activities within the last year.
S/O for that counterbalance boost on the 28th
Anyway, I’m indifferent of this glitch since it seems to be temporary and “fixes” itself anyway. But again I’ll ask if anyone in Tech is looking at this and can give some clarification if this is part of an upcoming update to Rewards system ? 🤷🏻♂️ Quote

One other pending issue is VOD missions. I had a private more than 60 minutes and did not get credit for it on my missions, nor the bonus rewards.
Should we expect another lump sum of missing points when this is corrected?
It will be hard to track if I get the monthly mission points if this spills into the new month.
We discovered that also, during our testing and have the VOD missions lined up for adjustments. Yes, you should expect to eventually see adjustments to your points, mission completions, and badges.

This is part of an already started and continued update to the Rewards system. However, the update is in the processing and not a change to policy or an addition of new missions.

I've been having problems with the flirt rewards ever since it was introduced. First time I looked at my points in the badge it was 875. Next day it was 840. Ever since I've seen the big banner come up saying that I leveled up it says either 39 (even when I'm at 40 or 39 for that matter) or 40. There is no forward progress. I wish flirt could fix this problem...

I can confirm that at least one of my models is off. I will point you to look at the St. Patrick's days contest charms that were gifted, and confirm those were added, along with any bonus for sets (floods).
Looking at just those 4 days, I have one model off thousands of points. this does not include other tipping or time spent with her etc. Quote

My point is that... If I am indeed SUPPOSED to have the current level of 950, WHY do I keep getting (at least once or twice a week) notifications that I am RAISED to 970... only to have it show as 950 again within a short time. If I am supposed to be 950, then the notifications for higher should not be happening ... no?
Your true earnings include several activities that are based on time and bonus points for mission achievements, which also include activities based on time. In order to still provide you with the instant gratification of rising a level and keep the strain of processing scores for all activities and all members, we run less taxing scripts that summarize your accomplishments and then get captured daily.
Hopefully, this scenario is a good example of what I mean:
You begin March 5 at level 20 with somewhere between 10-12.5K points.
A script captures your level at login, removes your expired points from 365 days prior, and recalculates your balance.
Because 365 days prior, you earned somewhere between 1-2.5K points, you see your level drop to 19.
A script that calculates your daily activity starts tracking a fluid balance.
You earn somewhere between 1-2K points for the daily activity, give 2K points worth of power boosts, are provided the VIP rebate, and see your level jump up to 20 again.
If point redemption doesn't affect your level and 2.5K triggered a level drop, then how can 2K points trigger a level increase?
Th fluid script is bare bones and captures only from your daily activity so it can reward you immediately for accomplishments without taxing the system by evaluating all factors that contribute to your status, level, and missions. Additionally, because the VIP rebate is applied to your account by giving half the points back to you after 100% was deducted, the fluid script adds the rebate points as earned points.
So in this scenario, the 2K points worth of boost returned 1K points to your fluid balance and triggered the banner for reaching level 20 again when captured by the script.
Tomorrow, after the daily script properly calculates all factors that contribute to your balance, your score will be back down to 19 because the rebate points are not earned points.

I believe a dev just made corrections to St. Paddy's calculations today. I don't know if he published the change yet, though. Let's assume he didn't because it's Friday, and that if it gets published on Monday, it may not get corrected until after the daily script runs. If you still see the error Tuesday morning, please email Customer Support with the days that you are using to calculate and the model's name so that we can dig into your data and find what could be causing the issue.

I am having a bunch of FlirtRewards Errors on my account. I am not sure if anyone else is experiencing the same issues or if it is something on my end. Over the last few weeks the number of Flirt points changes frequently (as in with each refresh of a page). Normally this was not an issue but now my account is saying that I have 0 points and when I go to boost a model it is still saying 0. I know that I do not have 0 since I have not used the points recently and get points from the daily log in. I then purchased 250 points with credits to try to boost a model and it still said that I did not have enough points to boost- meaning those purchased points are now missing. Upon looking back at my Flirt page, it then showed a NEGATIVE number of Flirt points, which I have never seen before. Anyone else having any of these issues?
The available points balance has been adjusted so that each page will update within seconds of each other. You should no longer see one balance on one page and a different balance on another. You should also see the balance update quickly after spending points and buying points.

What’s wrong with flirt rewards?? 
I’m missing lots of points earned from pvts, tips etc. The number of points I have is inconsistent.

Maybe that was residue from the adjustments previously made. I checked your account today and it lists 60 on the left and 70 on the right.

I reviewed your account and your rewards balance reflects the what has been earned.

I looked into your account and it looks like all tip flood rewards were issued along with the gift rewards. If you find something different, write to customer service with specifics for me to investigate.

I called flirt and explained what happened. Now I leveled upto Legendary; a 945 badge. But if I look at the progress bar under flirt rewards.It looks like I jumped five levels and if points are deducted I apparantly go back to 940 in a flash.
I'm happy this got figured out because I got so tired of seeing the same banners and the same badge levels. Quote
