Since Customer Support replied to this thread - two weeks ago, saying they did not know and would get back to us - I have called Customer Support nine times, and always could not get through (I could leave a message, but not speak to anyone.)
After reading your reply, I figured I would try one more time, and I DID get through this time.
The answer (May I have a drum roll, please?) I WAS RIGHT. If the deal "expires on October 3" (which is what it said), it is STILL VALID until a minute to midnight (by F4F's clock) on that date. If the deal did not appear as valid that day, it was a glitch, which has been reported.
And I agree with you. This was ridiculous, and should not have carried on through 18 posts. Tech support should have provided the correct answer (which was NOT the one most of you assumed was correct, because a particularly-emphatic user simply proclaimed it was!) And I am sure he will have something to say about this. He can't help himself.

There is no point to my checking dates on other deals, as I agree they are likely going away the day BEFORE the "expires on" date. My argument was never that this wasn't happening here on F4F, just that it is WRONG to happen, since the prevailing convention on ANY kind of deal, offer or coupon I have ever seen, makes it clear that an offer that "expires on 10/3" is STILL VALID for that entire last day, and goes away when the NEXT day begins.
Contrary to what another user posted, there is no "USA" rule or standard practice of making such offers expire before the "expires ON" date begins. I checked over 20 different websites, and all agree that the offer should still be good. If whomever programmed this on F4F thought otherwise, they are simply wrong, and this should be corrected.
The first admin that answered here got confused and never came back. I have now spoken to two other customer service people, and both agree the offer SHOULD have remained in effect that final day.
And I agree, this has gone on WAY too long ... and I blame F4F ... NOT for the initial error, but for not clarifying this through 21 previous replies! I will no longer comment on it. Quote

Since you promised not to comment anymore, let me get the last word in. From the beginning your question was that you couldn't use your deal code on the expired date "what gives". That was the question. I explained it to you and Bear confirmed it was true.
Just because you didn't like the answer, you argued with me for weeks because you didn't think that is how it should be, and you checked all of these sources for their ' opinion'. I seriously hope you have an attorney on retainer to feed you their opinions too because the fact is your opinion, the internet opinion and the opinion of a customer service representative working second shift on a Sunday night doesn't matter. I even feel that you should have until end of day to use it. But the fact still remains that you asked why did your deal code expire and as I told you in my first reply, it expired at the start of the day.
You just like to criticize the website and disagree with how they do things ever chance you get. You complain about the contest rules, you complain about the poor training the studios give the models, you complain when they don't give you discounted credits.
My point is, it is what it is, Flirt4Free is a very successful company and it isn't because they do everything you want, the way you want them to.
"What gives" the deal code expired at the start of the day, that is the way it is. Don't like it, sorry. But that is the way it is, now you know and next time maybe you won't wait for it to expire before trying to use it.
