It seems that at least in the first half hour of the Halloween costume contest, halloween votes appear in chat while FoTY viewers choice votes have stopped appearing.
You will hear the vote/ tip sound, but no other acknowledgement that it was sent. In past years this has not been the case, if you cast both votes, both votes would be recognized in the chat.
