Keep in mind the price varies based on when you purchase them and at what rate is being offered at the time of purchase. Also price can vary by country.
But most long time members recognize the actual price to be either 10 or the inflated 11 cents per.

What the models get IS less, and often a LOT less, depending on such factors as their popularity, whether they work independently or through a studio, and/or due to currency conversion rates or fees between their country and the USA for foreign models.
(or is that my 2.4 cents? LOL)

F4F advertises percentage discounts, but these are based on the 90 credits for $1 conversion rate, which most of us feel is bogus (I don't think I EVER paid that in almost two years here.)
I calculate the real discount by simply taking the cost in dollars, multiply it by 10, and then subtract that from the credits I actually get. Then you divide the difference by the 10times number, and that is your REAL savings percentage.
For example, right now there is a yellow banner saying 28% off. If I pay $500, I get 5,750 credits. Doing the calculation above: 500 x 10 = 5000. 5750 - 5000 = 750. 750/5000 = 15%. So the actual savings is a bit more than HALF of what is being advertised. (And that is true in almost every case.)
The WORST are usually those "Limited Time Only" offers in chatrooms, which give you SECONDS to try to figure out if it is a good deal or not. I have seen some which are HIGHER priced than the basic rates you get if you click on the "Buy Credits" icon on the top right of page one. It is a rip-off, in my opinion. Quote

If you take the 9 creds for one usd ( which is a rip of per se ) you would get the 28% discount ( 5750 / 500 * 0.9). nevertheless - you get the 5750 offer for 500 USD - members from europe have to pay 450 euro for that - which equals 525 . And thats a 5% agio - again not to models benefit

however the play and pay is based on the 10 credits per dollar, example 40 cpm is $4 per minute. The dollar limit for play and pay is setup in the users account page, in the Play and Pay section and this is a daily limit.
