While the team consistently works at making the webRTC experience superb, some issues are out of our control. However, we do have some workarounds:
iOS 15.1 has compatibility issues with webRTC. If you are still using iOS 15.1, we suggest you update to iOS 15.2 for a better experience, as it appears to have resolved the matter.
Firefox 96 has a confirmed bug with webRTC. Until there is a known fix, if our system recognizes that you are using Firefox 96, it excludes webRTC as an option. We suggest you use a different browser if you prefer webRTC in the chat rooms.
As always, we thank you for your patience and loyalty while we strive to provide you with a better experience. It never goes unnoticed or unappreciated.

We recently made adjustments to the authentication process which should reduce the delay as you join rooms and shows.
For those of you that use Firefox 96 and had trouble with webRTC because of their bug, we just released a work-around that should get it to work for you.
We are still making updates to some servers and settings, so while you may still be experiencing discussed issues, please know that we continuously work towards improvement. Please reach out to Customer Service with model names, dates, and times if your issues are persistent so that we can investigate your case on a granular level.

Just wanted to check in about issues I'm getting intermittently with Chrome. I know it's a post from 6 months ago but I'm still getting bad delay in privates and public rooms, laggy performance, and inconsistent results changing settings.
Thanks in advance! Quote
