After contacting customer service with my thoughts about the new chat room interface I got a response letting me know my suggestions had been forwarded to the proper department as a task for consideration in future updates. While that's all well and good one of so called suggestions wasn't actually a suggestion, but the reporting of a bug. I tried again and got a similar reply. Perhaps the third time will be a charm.

Using my touchscreen on the desktop version of F4F when I click to type in a room it automatically opens the model bio preview under the video and chat box. I can't imagine how this is the intended result when simply wanting to type text for chatting. Thus it must be a bug.

Hi Zuzar1,

I have tested on a touch screen and do not have that issue, can you let me know or send an email to customer service letting us know what type of device you are using (and browser) so we can better test? Have you tried all video sizes and seen if it is a problem in all sizes?

A Screen shot would help greatly as well if you can send us one of those while the problem is occurring.

Thank you for answering my questions and sending the screen cap, looks to me like the soft keyboard is loading the bio which takes focus the first time off the input. We have a possible solution we will implement so hold tight. I will post again when we have the fix.

We have just released an improvement for small devices with touch who don't use the mobile version. Let me know if you are still having the same issues?
Also please clear your browser cache to make sure you are getting the latest update.
