The wonderful model Rafy, beautiful boy, excellent performer, congenial chat-room host, and valued contributor to this forum, hasn't appeared on the schedule in two weeks. His absence has caused wailing and gnashing of teeth on all the continents, including Anarctica.

Rafy, if you still read this forum, please tell your friends what your intentions are. Flirt4Free is duller without you. Word of your return would be the cause of world-wide rejoicing. If you are gone for good we can begin a period of grieving after which we can refocus our lecherous gazes and open our pocketbooks to others. Whatever the case, let us know you are healthy and safe.

Reliable information from others would be helpful. :helpme

Models I have known have visited F4F from their own computers, although access to models in their own country has been blocked. I would assume a former model could visit the forum as any customer could, although, in Rafy's case, the Saint Petersburg models on the site would be blocked. Even if former models are banned from communication in the forum, he could accomplish by stealth, such as through the agency of another, what he couldn't achieve by law.

On the other hand, someone in Rafy's studio could see the message and respond to it. Or perhaps the administrator could see it and inform Rafy of the customers' distress and beg his return. Or perhaps Rafy has told another customer what his intentions were, and unless the information violated a pledge of confidentiality, I should hope the customer would share the information.

Of course Rafy might not be gone at all. He might have taken a few days off for rest or to attend to some other interests. Although I hope not, he might have the flu or some other illness. Perhaps like "Reuben, Reuben, I've been thinking," he has been "transported far beyond the Northern Sea," a fine trip even in winter as long as it was voluntary and contributed to his happiness.

His bio is still current, as you know, and he might be able to log in as a model and contribute to the forum either from home or from the studio.

For all we know, he might re-appear online, scheduled or not, as so many other models have done.

And, as long as it stays there, customers should read his comments about himself in his bio. Along with the photos, VODs and contributions to the forum, his appeal should be obvious even to a stranger. :smoking

Rafy can access Flirt4Free as a model only from his studio. And, like everyone else, he would have to purchase time with a credit card to become a registered member. Very few Russian models have credit cards

If Rafy were to visit this site as a model it would be from his studio - to log on, to perform, and to earn money. I doubt that he would go to the trouble of going to his studio and logging on simply to check his Flirt4Free mail and to access the forums

Ourjeffie, I do not believe this is technically correct.
Models and registered members can access and post in these forums but additionally non-registered can access them (not the VIP only forums) on a read only basis.
They do have to be registered to post.

(I observed this after clearing PC caches etc and entering the model forums before re-logging)

I guess it was implied in Brad's statement when he announced these forums - "Only registered users can post new threads or reply to to threads" - perhaps implying that non-members can access (i.e. read) the forums but are unable to post

Whilst we are on the subject of who can read posts, below is part of a question I posed to Brad in another thread to which there has been no response.

I wonder if this should be of concern to the performers.
Maybe only boy friends/girlfriends would recognise chest or underwear photos and tattoos but many are facial photos.

Performers are showing their headshot (or other) photos alongside their posts. I presume these forums are visible worldwide and in the performers� own country.

Has this been brought to their specific attention that they may be losing their home country privacy?

My hope when I posted my message was that if Rafy didn't respond that a generous and informed reader of the forum would. You have answered that hope and I am grateful to you.

The advantage of Flirt4Free for me over other sites is that here the guest can get to know the models, in the limited way a chat room designed to satisfy sensual desire will permit. Under the best conditions something like a community of model and visitors can develop, each known to the model and to each other, with each guest paying his dues by taking the model private from time to time.

A model who can attract such guests and cultivate a happy chat room is an ornament to F4F. The ability to do that is rare, which is why some models, handsome, fit, and skilled performers in private, nevertheless fail. Rafy maintains a chat room fun to visit, often works double shifts, and seems as fresh after twelve hours as he was in the beginning.

It would be helpful if Flirt would post in the bio, perhaps after the date of the last performance, "Rafy is taking time off, but will return soon," or something of the sort, to distinguish his case from that of models who are gone for good. The forum might be a good place for that information.

The models know and the studio administrator knows. Someone at the studio, I presume the administrator, adds and removes bios and some studios post schedules of models' performances. With slight extra effort the administrator or the model could use the forum to announce a temporary absence.

If by Flirt4Free you mean VS Media, its employees probably have "absolutely no idea." They would find out, if they cared, the same way they learn about schedules and bio additions and deletions, from studio administrators or models working independently.

But if by Flirt4Free we include the models and the studios, as in our thinking we usually do, without distinction between those parties and VS Media, entities mutually dependent and contractually bound, then Flirt4Free assuredly "knows." With a simple posting in the forum the rest of us could know.

That it probably wouldn't be done isn't because Flirt4Free doesn't "know," but because the models and studios would probably fail to do it, either from negligence or unwillingness to make the effort.

I agree with this part of your post Sowega

Often models fail to advise their administrator of a planned absence, sometimes because of negligence or unwillingness, sometimes because of inability. Additionally, many absences are unplanned

On occasions I have had studio administrators, knowing of my friendship with models, contact me to enquire if I am aware of the circumstances of a particular model who has failed to report to work and who can not be contacted by phone

Some models leave permanently without taking the trouble to advise their administrator, however I'm not suggesting this applies to Rafy
