I don't think anyone should complain if you spend too much on the models. As for spending too little, you might like to look at some excellent posts in the topic Feeling Like a Freeloader:

It is no one else's business...who I spend my credits on and how much I spend is a personal decision.

Let me paraphrase something I've likely read somewhere on these forums: "Members who tell others to tip have likely not tipped in a long time".

I find it annoying for a member to be constantly using the Let's Tip Emoticon repetitively while not ever tipping themselves. It is also a turn off to have another member in the room tell me to tip if I want to make a request--I am well aware of how to tip if I want to see something.

More recently a couple of members have personally attacked my spending habits on f4f.

Ignore it. You are the only one who knows your spending habits, nobody else does. It's none of their business anyway

Joel - it does not matter if you spend million or zero .

Main thing - Are you having fun ?
Do the models enjoy your visits ?

Unfortunately the Flirt game has most focus on spending :twocents

You can become Anonymous .
1 room 8 of her top 10 fans are anonymous and very happpy . All 8 enjoy and never ask what the others spend

We tease if someone had power boosted or reviewed recently .

If you are having fun and enjoying , suggest to the members that are so rude to ask you "I will not share that with you . You can feel comfortable and spend as you chose "

Hopefully they will not be so nosey in the future

I actually have a "troll" who comes and offers me advice, on how I am spending to much on my favorite model, and how she is just taking me for all my money and doesnt care anything about me etc etc.

Like it is any of his/her business how I spend my money. He almost comes off as if he is trying to save me (my soul maybe?).

Joe - thanks for confirming that this was the reason for your topic. Intrigued to know what was behind the criticism. Was it connected with a contest - where members wanted another model to win? I am not a fan of contests, but many people like them.

Very generous support can raise a model's expectations. A short time ago I asked a new model if he could do Party Chat. He said "yes" but hadn't done it before. To be helpful I suggested he might want to set targets like 200 for naked, another 200 for hard and another 400 for cum. He said "OK" . He immediately stripped and showed his hard cock. Then he typed: "Ronnie-uk 400 tip"!

I explained that he should get the tips first, and normally tips would be 25 or 50. Afterwards I looked at his bio and saw that he had done just 1 private show and received 4 paid show tips totalling 3,000 credits (2 x 1,000 and 2 x 500). That was his only experience of tips, and explains why he had high expectations. :winkwink

No reason for criticising the big tipper, of course. Just an example of what can happen.

It was more a case of the rate that the performer had set and the fact that I was prepared to pay. The user in question made a number of inappropriate accusations and comments but nevertheless everyone here in the forum has confirmed my initial views. I will now disregard the user in question and not give them a further thought.

I sincerely appreciate the user and performer comments and the fact that you have taken the time to provide the feedback and help I sought.

I have been thru the same experience.A member became jealous of my spending habits on a particular member and kept calling me "Mr. Rich Guy". This became very annoying, but I soon just ignored that member and kept doing what I did. Had fun with my fav models. THere will always be some bad apples in the barrel. Have fun spend as much or as little as you like. And if a member becomes too obnoxious during open chat, I am sure the model will say something to that member , or possibly even ban them from there room if they become too disruptive . And again,,, what we spend is no ones business but our own!!!! :twocents

RIGHT?!

And what model wouldn't ban someone for discouraging members from spending credits on them? If anything is a ban-able offense, it should be that. Be rude and mean all you want, but don't try to scare away credits! We need them to survive. That's right, models eat credits. Most prefer the sweeter pulp part, but I am all about the nutrient-rich pith, especially shaved onto hot toast with a bit of butter and natural cane sugar. Mmmmm....... Yum.

I think this is related to something that is a large part of why some members attack other members for their spending habits. If a model becomes more successful, chances are that their rates will go up across the board (PVT CPM, Group and Party goals, etc.), thereby making the model less accessible (or, depending on the situation, exploitable...) to some members. :bulb

Oh, and thanks for remembering my thread from last year and bringing it up in another thread, Ronnie! I felt so special when I saw that.

I've read and agree with the 20-point guide and traditionally have had a great time.

I am not going to name and shame and I want this to be a constructive thread so I would ask that you abide by the same rules.

More recently a couple of members have personally attacked my spending habits on f4f. I strongly believe that what I spend on particular models is nothing to do with anyone else but would like your views.

Again, keep it clean and constructive please. I have deliberately not named names as I don't want this thread to descend in to anarchy.

As someone pointed out earlier, if you choose to be ANONYMOUS in the Flirt Game, your spending habits here should not matter to anyone except you, the models you have fun with, and the people at VS/your bank/credit card company. If, however, you choose to allow your screen name to be used in the Flirt Game, then you can probably expect some people to make comments. The Flirt Game seems to be designed to encourage this kind of attitude and behavior. In any event, it's unnecessary and rude to you and the model for anyone to give you grief for spending too much. :twocents

You might as well embrace the fact that people are going to be assholes when you do something bigger than they are willing to do. Haters are validation.... Well, unless you're Hitler or something. In that case, your haters would be right. I doubt you're anything like that, so have fun! :thumbsup
