There is an ongoing cloud of mystery surrounding contests and the hall of fame regarding "gift wrapped" gifts and tips. It results in the results of contests changing after the contest is over, and most recently, there is a mystery of how Izzi got 4792 invisible gifts on Feb 19. I guarantee you that he did NOT.
I think that even if a gift is WRAPPED, it should not be hidden.. for instance. In the Gift Rankings, instead of it saying:
Monco gift of 50 credits
Member name gift of 500 credits
Monco gift of 1000 credits

it would list something like:
GIFT WRAPPED gift of 50 credits
GIFT WRAPPED gift of 500 credits
GIFT WRAPPED gift of 1000 credits

or instead of Gift Wrapped, list it as ANONYMOUS.

I did about 1500 of them, and I gift wrapped all except for one. I also know exactly who the other participants were. I don't really see how it is any of your business. As the other poster said, the gifts were planned as a surprise welcome home to Izzi by his friends.

As for promos and rankings, a private started before the promo ends, and ending before 2:00 AM counts toward the promo. The rankings aren't final until all those have been accounted for. The rankings on the promo page are last updated at 11:45 PM before the final results are published at 2:30 AM, so if its close the credits in the last 15 min, or privates crossing midnight can alter the result. I know this isn't as exciting as all the conspiracy theories.

It would certainly help the members if VS made the rules of these contests transparent so everyone would know what the rules are. If the rankings don't close till 2:30 AM, it would behoove the management of the site to make this clear to the members who may be supporting the non-winner. Just a recommendation to the bosses that would make your members happier!

Ongoing cloud of mystery? Where is the mystery? People can send gift-wrapped gifts. It's as easy as that.
As to Izzi, I for one can tell you the Izzi DID receive 4000+ gifts that day. Gift wrapping cost nothing but one extra click when you send a gift.
I myself sent a portion of those gifts.

Gift wrapped gifts have nothing to do with late updates to the contests. This has more to do with the website's last update on the ranking page being 15 minutes before the contests closes. Any gifts/tips received in the last 15 minutes will not show up until the final update around 2 hours later. Also, private chats that were started before midnight but not yet ended wont get their values added to the totals until the private ENDs which often is after the last screen update at 11:45

But lets address your need to try to disparage Izzi.
I started the first push to get Izzi that HOF award. After he won it, another model then got more gifts and won that title. Did you see anyone accusing that model of cheating? No? Hmm maybe that was because it take certain level of class and decorum to accept a loss and not start a post (in 2 forums) trying to say a model was cheating.

What DID happen was that PJ started a second push to surprise Izzi with the HOF record again. We all rallied around PJ's idea and here we are.. defending an honest win because someone's upset their model can't get that kind of support. Oh I realize that this post just may light a fire under you to start a similar push for your favorite model. That is ok, it's called competition. I like a good competition.. but .. please note that I have a few credits saved up and my clicking finger is ready to go again if needed..

Instead of hating, I suggest that you stop in Izzi's room and join us in enjoying that love and entertainment that Izzi puts out to everyone that stops in.

What a stupid statement. Do you make it a habit of opening your mouth and inserting your foot? Do you really think VS would allow this to happen?

Facts: 1) Izzi was on vacation when this happened and knew nothing about it.
2) The surprise of this award was started by me.
3) I sent 1750 of those gift wrapped gifts
4) I guarantee you it was real.
5) I guarantee you do not know what you are talking about.

Don't forget to put some seasoning on your foot before putting it in your mouth.

Copenhagen1, Fraud was committed but it wasn�t by Izzi or his friends, it was by you. According to the definition of fraud: a fraud is an intentional deception made for personal gain or to DAMAGE ANOTHER INDIVIDUAL. It appears you are trying to damage Izzi�s reputation. I can assure you that Izzi received all 4,672 gifts legitimately. As others have said, this was a welcome back surprise for Izzi. So before you make false accusations against others, please get your facts straight!!!

Amen Tom (and everyone else). Izzi is the top North American model of ALL TIME for a reason--his devoted and very loving fan base + the impeccable way in which Izzi treats his fans & friends. This thread is likely just the same usual trouble maker (under yet another alias) that we all know about attempting to cause drama on the site YET AGAIN. He--under his fake female name (AKA a stolen identity of a well known former female model, who then became the biggest member celebrity on the site)--has been posting & spreading (to other models and members) the same tripe and garbage on his Twitter feed. This person lives to stir trouble amongst members and models and spread lies, half-truths and malicious gossip. Best to just ignore him. --AF

Not really, since those gifts were sent 'gift wrapped' there was actually 0 pages worth of gifts showing up in the bio.. Which is what I think is the issue the original poster's was trying to get across more than anything else. He had no way of verifying the win for Izzi because they were send gift wrapped.

It is still a valid HOF record to beat.. It only took me about an hour to send 400 gifts, so I only spent in total a few hours over the whole day doing that... But the thing is, it took many people to do this and that makes it even more of a special record.

I was going to say that perhaps the Hall of Fame record for most gifts in a day should be scrapped. A few months ago I wasted 30 minutes sending about 100 meaningless gifts to a performer when the record was around 1,800. I vowed never to do it again. It seemed a totally pointless exercise.

However, I appreciate the huge amount of time that members here must have spent to create a record which is attributed to Izzi (even though he knew nothing about it). If Izzi's fans take some pride in the record, then that may be an argument for keeping it.

Interestingly, many of the folks here seem to question the motives or motivation of the original poster as to why he was questioning the record as possible fraud yet the questioners seem free to bash the member without knowing for sure that he is a troublemaker either. Why is it OK to bash a member but not OK to question whether a model is on the up and up? I know Izzi has many fans and I read that he knew nothing about the record that was being set up as a gift, etc. I am somewhat unsure how you know the original poster is the so-called troublemaker you all seem to hate so much? Just asking, maybe someone can clarify.

Interestingly, there was no reason for your post other than to fan the flames of what had been a satisfactory resolve to the topic of discussion.

But since you did, I have to guess you missed from my prior reply:

I was actually trying to give the original poster the benefit of doubt there. A bit hard to do since they called out Izzi specifically but I tried anyways.

I will have to also guess that you missed the original posters inflammatory "I guarantee you that he did NOT" remark.. If you had read that then I'm sure you would have given your post a second thought before hitting send. (see, another benefit of the doubt offering)

Maybe we are questioning because the title of the thread was Fraud with contests?

This sounds more like an accusation than a question.

If Copenhagen1 would have asked the question, I see Izzi won the contest but I don't see all of the gifts on his page, can someone explain how this works? He didn't do that though. He accused Izzi and his fans of possible fraud.

One last thing I don't hate, I just want to get the facts out there. I hope this clarifies it for you.
