Dave Rich --
I have always understood that on this site Eastern Time (ET)refers to USA. As a guidance for members the site uses Lima and Indiana as cities within the bounds of the longitudes of ET.
Anyone looking at your chat schedule has the opportunity to select their own timezone from a drop down list which automatically changes the times you have input to their local time.
Therefore I would suggest you enter your local time that you intend to work and let the system amend it as and when a customer looks at your schedule.
For instance here in UK it is now Monday 9.33am and by my selecting my timezone (Casablanca,Dublin,LOndon) from the list at the heading of your chat schedule this amends your times to my times and indicates that you were to be online on Monday at 2:45am to 4:45am and 5:00am to 6:30am UK time.
However, for you information, as you are in Eastern Australia, if I change my timezone to yours in the list at the heading of your schedule to Brisbane,Canberra, Melbourne, Guam (Monday 7.33pm) your schedule shows that you are to be online at 3:00pm to 4:30pm and 12:45pm to 2:45pm on Monday in eastern Australia. From what you said in your post I would have expected these times to have shown as 12.00am to 3.00am as if we are both in the same timezone.
Ate these the times that you input?
As further examples any member who inputs Adelaide as their local time your schedule would indicate that you are to be coming online at 2:30pm to 4:00pm and 12:15pm to 2:15pm Monday their time.
In New York the times show you as being Sunday 9:45pm to 11:45pm and Monday 12:00am to 1:30am
In California they show as Sunday 6:45pm to 8:45pm and 9:00pm to 10:30pm
Hope you can work something out from this information but as previouly said I would suggest you enter the time as your local time. Additionally I am not certain that many actually look at the schedules.
