Dear Wayne

I was going to send this as a private message, but thought I would send it as an open message to see whether others agreed or disagreed.

As you know, I was the first person to welcome you back to the forums after your 3 month break. I included a nice review on your bio page, and supported you in some very enjoyable party chats and group chats since you returned.

Sad to say, the Kinky Words Game which you started has made me a little irritated with you. I know that is totally unfair, because it is others who are keeping the "game" going. However, this is a site where we tend to follow our emotions - probably more than logic and loyalty. Whenever I now see the name "Wayne Sexy" I think of the Kinky Word Game and I think "Oh no - not that again".

I assume that you are in touch with the main participants (Ourjeffie, LickaU and Asti) and have discussed options for your topic:

1. keep it going indefinitely, or for as long as Ourjeffie is happy to expand his Dictionary of Kinky Words (which avoids duplication of answers)

2. end it at the 1,000th post

3. tighten up the rules so that the "game" finishes with a winner (no double word or hyphenated answers. No invented words. Words must be kinky, so that words like "yes", "girl" and "dear" are not allowed)

4. ask VS to move your topic to the Games forum.

Hope you can understand why I have written this, and hope that it is helpful to you (including comments that others might make here).

Ronnie, I'm sure Wayne had no idea when he started the thread how popular it would become and how long it would continue. Most of the threads started by Russian guys peter out very quickly, some with no responses at all. If you want to be "a little irritated" with anyone you should be irritated not by Wayne but by the participants who have made the game successful and those who are continuing to enjoy it.

As it is a game it should have been started in the Games Forum and I don't think anybody would object to it being moved to the Games Forum now.

I see no point in prematurely k!lling off a thread while participants are continuing to enjoy it. It won't keep going "indefinitely" because every thread dies a natural death when people ultimately lose interest in it. This could occur before or after the 1,000th post.

Nor do I consider it feasible to impose additional rules mid-game. Some double words and hyphenated words are legitimate, and I'm sure you'll agree that some things which one person might consider kinky would not be considered kinky by another. I have refrained from expressing an opinion on whether I consider a particular word kinky or not except when I have been asked.

Finally, I wish you continued success with the Fl0gging a Dead Horse with Emoticons game which you initiated. :orglaugh

Although I have not taken part in the Kinky Words Game, I have had a number of different reactions to it:

- at first I was really pleased for Wayne that he had come up with a topic that was so popular, and that is what I told him in his room

- after 2 or 3 weeks I was surprised that the topic was still going strong. I saw that you were regularly updating the word list, to avoid duplicates, and it was quite impressive. There was a discussion in another forum about words which we are not allowed to use here, so I thought your list was interesting in that context

- after another couple of weeks I thought I would follow your advice in other topics and just ignore it. The topic itself wasn't of any interest to me, but I didn't think it wasn't doing any harm

- I wrote my last post when I realised that the constant appearance of the topic might be doing some harm to Wayne. I found it was having the same effect on me as multiple topics and posts by certain performers which put me off ever visiting their rooms. That was unfortunate and unfair

I like to keep up-to-date with what is happening in the forums, and the forum overview page shows where and when new posts have been added. I am always interested when new posts have been added in this forum. Very often I find that the only update in this forum since I last visited might be a single word added to the Kinky Words Game topic. That becomes a bit irritating after a while. However, that is just my personal reaction :twocents

Always good to discuss issues with you. I have been a member for less than a year, and have always valued your wise advice and support and the benefit of your longer experience here.

PS Yes. Fl*gging a Dead Horse with Emoticons was a bit silly on my part. I had organised a vote on the emoticons in the Male and Female forums, and explained what I was doing in the General Discussions forum. I also gave it a mention in the News and Announcements forum. Someone thought I wouldn't be happy until the subject was raised in all the forums. That was why I rather cheekily added a topic to the Games forum. It got the response that it deserved. :orglaugh

PPS Just found that the F4F censor now stops me from using that word. You were the first person I saw here using that well-established and harmless phrase

A few weeks ago you posted on another topic to say you found Phil-USA's single name posts rather boring. Some of those posts were on topics that I started (Best VOD Cum Shots, Most Beautiful Cocks and Who Likes Soft Cocks). As a result of that my name was appearing rather a lot at the top of the forums, even though I wasn't doing many of the posts myself.

I do get a bit embarrassed when my topics appear at the top of the forum together. On that basis, I think I sympathise with you and almost agree with you. :orglaugh

However, I like to think that my individual posts make a little more of a contribution to the forums than single name or single word posts. In my most recent posts I have congratulated Paul Atreides on winning the Halloween night contest (guys and girls combined), commented on Domenic Prize's fun impersonation of William Haley and congratulated him on his amazing Hall of Fame achievements.

This particular forum is ideal for any comments about the Male Performers. In that respect, Phil, your single-name posts were always more relevant to this forum than the single-word posts in a Games topic. Perhaps I shouldn't have lumped them together earlier. Hope you didn't mind.

I think, in general, that the forums are better if posts are useful, interesting or entertaining. All 3 together would be great, but I haven't managed that yet

He agreed that his Kinky Word Games topic should now be moved to the Games forum, but said that he wasn't able to ask Customer Services to arrange this directly. He will be sending a message to ourjeffie, who will know just what to do.

I see that the topic is coming up to its 1,000th post (in 2 months!), so it will no doubt stay here for that milestone. That would seem like a good time for congratulations to those concerned for an amazing achievement.

OK, Jeffie - will do. I will add my support to chinmusic's earlier request, and mention that the originator of the Kinky Words Game and the main contributor now both agree that the topic should be moved to the Games forum.

Happy to wait until the 1,000 the post. I might even add a word to help it get there (if there are any kinky words left).
