Hey everyone, Sept. 11th is just two days away, and I wanted to post this before hand to say THANK YOU, to any of you out there who might be in the MILITARY, or who might be a FIRE DEPARTMENT PERSONAL, or POLICE OFFICERS or etc... This message is for you regardless if you are active, or not as of today, even retired, in these areas.

I personally THANK YOU for all you do, and if by chance you had anything to do with 9/11 when it happened, then I THANK YOU even more. It is hard to believe that it has been 10 years, since that horrible day. A few months ago I was talking to someone from N.Y, and they mentioned how nicely the new towers were coming along. I was surprised, because I was like what I am sure a lot of people are or were like... we have not kept up with the work being done there. Honestly the last I had heard about it, they were just laying the ground work, but as it stands now, they have a lot more done than that. The way it is looking, is very beautiful, and the memorial is wonderful as well. For any of you who do not live there, or have not seen how the rebuilding is going, or what the area looks like now, you should take a look. When I looked this up a few months ago, I found the site set up JUST for the World Trade Center. I hope I don't get into trouble posting this here... not sure if URLS are allowed... but then it is not like it is another cam site or anything. Here is the URL: http://www.wtc.com/ and in case they block this, here it is spelled out, just take out the spaces from it: w w w . W T C . c o m

Again I say THANK YOU to all of the MEN and WOMEN out there who defend our rights, our freedoms, and our country in the MILITARY. I also THANK all of you POLICE OFFICERS, out there that put your lives on the line everyday to keep us safe as well. And last but not least, THANK YOU to every single FIRE DEPARTMENT PERSONAL for also putting your lives on the line each day to help save ours. These thanks are not just for that day, they are for everyday since, and every day to come. And of course I can not post this without saying... MAY GOD BLESS AMERICA!!! Quote

I live in Russia, and saw accident on the TV.
I grieve on the lost people. Also it is glad for survived.
I think, that have correctly made day of mourning.

When I shall be in the USA, I shall necessarily visit a memorial...

ALL THANKS FOR SUPPORT AND THE HELP !!! Quote

Well the day is officially over... I ended up in tears a few times through out the day, watching the different specials that were on tv all day/night long. I was not able to watch any part of the ceremony if it was broadcast... Anyway it was nice seeing in the different shows, how survivors were meeting the heroes that helped, or saved them that day. I think the one that got me the most was the child.ren one I saw, it showed all of the child.ren that were born after 9/11. The ones who's mothers were pregnant with them at the time of 9/11 who's fathers had lost their lives during that day, or days to follow. To see all of these 9 & 10 year olds... at the end of the show each holding pictures of their fathers in front of them, made me choke up more. Anyway I hope everyone got through the day ok... Quote
