Anyone knows what happened to Randy L. His pic is gone from the bio section. Did a search and his bio is totally gone. Did he do something really bad and got banned from the site?

I don't know if this is the case in regards to Randy L however if models fall below a certain percentage they are usually terminated.

Again, I'm not saying this is what happened but it's a possibility.

Termination is one thing but I don't understand why deleting every trace of him. That's kind of strange to me. They can still make money out of his VODs.

If you go to the VOD tab and then go to Models link you will get an alphabetical list of all models. Hit the "R" link and then scroll down and you will see Randy L still listed which gives you access to his VOD's. I have found that when models leave (for whatever reason) they leave the VOD's up but just delete the bio section since they are no longer available to be online any longer. Hope that helps.

That's not quite correct, choirboy. When models leave in most cases their bios stay up almost indefinitely - you will still see bios for models who left last December, for example. However a small proportion of bios are manually deleted when the model leaves. In both cases the VODs remain available and can be accessed in the way you describe

There are also some models whose bios have been removed, but who have latter returned to work. So don't give up hope.

That's true Tom, but it happens less and less these days

Almost invariably if a bio is deleted it is never restored. I wouldn't hold out hope of a model returning after their bio has been deleted

The bios pages can be a little "confusing" in that the names under each initial letter are listed alphabetically in 2 "runs".
First to be listed, there is a run of active/or very recently active performers and then there is listed a run of performers who have not been online for some time.
I am not sure of that time limit before the name moves into the second run but it appears to be only a few weeks.

(I think sometime ago ourjeffie mentioned these 2 runs in another thread)

Not sure on of the timescale of when names'/bios are archived from the second run.

Occasionally, for whatever reason, names/bios can also disappear altogether before or after becoming dormant. I believe this must be done manually but as I have seen in a recent case they can be reinstated.

Confusing? Not to my way of thinking :angel

The note at the top of each alphabetical bio page says "Performers are listed alphabetically if they have been active recently; otherwise models who have not been online lately are listed alphabetically at the end of the list"

Perusal of the "Last Online" date for a few models will show that models are regarded as active only if they have appeared online in the last week, otherwise they are relegated to the end of the list and appear alphabetically with other inactive models

So for each letter of the alphabet active models are listed in alphabetical order, followed by inactive models in alphabetical order

I don't think any "archiving" has been carried out since this format was introduced
