Hey, I figured since I've sent emails to f4f and was ignored, I would try posting here - maybe someone would take notice!

As much as I love this site, occasionally things happen which annoy me. One gripe, which I'm sure everyone shares, is the censorship. I've accepted that f4f doesn't want some words mentioned, but it gets ridiculous at times (and inconsistent). The one that I find really offsensive is that out of all the religions only one can not be mentioned - that is the word Jew. As a Jew I find it offensive to be singled out from every other religion. Can someone explain that one?

My other big beef is a long story, but the short of it is that I was reprimanded by a Monitor in Bulgaria for not spending enough money in pvt and not tipping the model. I was so outraged that I refuse to go pvt with any more models in Bulgaria. I've been told in various rooms that there are no Monitors in Bulgaria, but all I know is it said Moni, it was in red, and the English was better than any Bulgarian models I've dealt with. Anyway, I found this behaviour reprehensible.

Ok - those are my gripes for now. Keep bringing us those hot models.

The censorship is really annoying. Often times, words that are completely inoffensive (Such as a certain string of words in a sentence, that may combine to be an offensive word) are censored. There are also many words, that have no reason to be censored. I think most of them should be uncensored, the rooms may just need to be monitored a bit more and/or models just need to use the boot feature that have at their disposal when appropriate.

some of the censorship is a bit archaic. I know where it is coming from and kinda understand. But hey....surely the models can kick folk off they don't want. :thumbsup

actualy no the models cannot kick anyone off only the monitors can.but i dont like the censorship that much either.but it helps keep things safe.

First, on the topic of chat filtering we are making some improvements in this regard. We've trimmed down the list of filtered words for our new system and have tried to make steps such that words aren't accidentally filtered.

Second, the new system will provide performers with their own list of filtered words. For instance, some performers may not like the word "slut", but others may use it as a role-playing word.

Third, as I said in another thread, models will be able to temporarily ignore offensive chatters. They will also have a REQUEST HELP button that will alert a monitor that they need help in their room.

Regarding the monitoring situation you mentioned ... please let us know whenever something like that happens. No monitor should ever give you grief for the length of your private show and/or whether you choose to tip. It's your money and you can spend it any way you wish.

Thanks Brad! That sounds like great improvements! As far as the Monitor incident, I did send email to support and never got a response. I've sent emails a number of times about other issues, and the only responses I've ever gotten were when I needed refunds. That's why I love this forum, because you guys actually pay attention to it!

Thanks for the response, Brad. I really like the new idea with models being able to censor what they want to. By the way, don't you think the java applets here are a bit...outdated? They're not horrible, but still, I think you guys could provide with higher quality software to display the videos/chat. Maybe this will be changed in your new "systems"? Thanks.

You have your right to be offended at anything... but maybe think about the possibility that everyone being offended at either being included or excluded from some list or mention is the whole reason that they felt like they had to censor things in the first place. It is just my pet peeve that society has gotten to the point where everyone has to be looking for how they are being disprespected and offended. My opinion and it is just that, is that if people respect themselves more they dont have to worry about what others say or do so much... just my 2 cents....

I don't want to mention the model, because I really like him and it wasn't his fault. Basically, I told him I'd pvt him if the model next door came over to spank him. They agreed to do it, but then they got caught and the model got in trouble for having a duo. That's when the Moni yelled at me, saying since the model risked getting in trouble for me I should have spent more time in pvt and tipped him.

Since the model broke a major rule for you and did what he promised, I can see where the monitor was coming from with his comment that you should have compensated the model accordingly

Yes, the model would have been VERY HEAVILY fined: Some of the fines can be up to a couple of hundred dollars: for severe breaches of the rules: and that is more than some make in month.

In some countries DUOS are not possible under any circumstances: and the MONI knew the consequences the model would be in.

I got a model fined once for getting them to say something in the open room in their own language: I soon learnt to respect each studio's rules: regardless of how ridiculous they may appear because the only one that gets hurt is the model who I am supporting.

Life is a bitch . . . and then you die!

So I took the model private immediately and tipped him enough to cover the fine . . . . probably more than what was required but I wasn't going to have the model disadvantaged for something that I inadvertently did.

And reading your posts, I think that is what the MONI was meaning when he made that comment to you MuscleStud! But you weren't to realise at the time the monetary fine that the model would face!

And lots of Ki$$$$$$$$$es. LOL

I can't believe you guys! If a model chooses to do something for me which is against the rules, that is THEIR CHOICE to make. I later did go back and tip the model because he is my friend and I felt badly for him, though he later told me he didn't wind up getting fined. If a model wants me to pay more for something, they need to negotiate that up front. The MONI has no right to pressure me to pay more money for something after the fact, and I am shocked that you guys are condoning this kind of behavior. Maybe that's ok in other countries, but in America that is akin to bait and switch which is illegal.

There are rules against models ASKING for more money or tips even in pvt. Whole studios have been penalized with denial of tips for weeks because a model at that studio was seen NEGOTIATING.
It appears that we chatters need a copy of the rules that the models must live with

I strongly agree with this. Even a formal general conduct rules list would be nice to have on hand (Maybe just a small link in the footer to it?)

I have to think this might be a good idea (and yes, Brad, it sure is nice to know that you actually read these comments) if only because I, as a newcomer to the site, really like it but have some difficulty with the etiquette. My solution for myself is to try and be as respectful and polite to the models as I would be in the flesh. I do, however, find myself rushing to the model's rescue when they--at an obvious language disadvantage--are being insulted by the client and, often understanding however vaguely the insult--are unable to reply. Some of the chatters are so rude, treating the young guys like 'chattel' or 'meat' I am offended for them and by them. These guys are just doing their job for us, and we owe them a certain degree of personal respect. This note is not an 'ass-kiss' by the way, just common decency. Some of these guys are obviously good people!

I agree about the way some of the chatters treat the models. It's appalling the way they order them around in open chat, talk to them like they're trash and get all rude when they don't do just what the chatter ordered. I'm amazed at how polite most of the models remain, when I know that they really want to slap the offenders upside their heads.
