...I don't visit guy rooms, but I can no longer contain myself seeing this forum topic.... The real deal here is simple: F4F doesn't mandate the shit cams, they only pay out the appropriate minutes earned to studios. Bottom line..if you don't like the image you see in free chat, then don't buy a show...if you like the model (girl or guy) and want to help support them..then get a show regardless of how crappy their cam is...tipping is always appreciated and most models get more of the cut that way....otherwise, go find another model who has a cam that you DO like and get over it. No one is going to do anything about crappy cams as long as they don't have to, and unless you plan on marrying a model and bringing them to your home where you'd provide better cams for them to use, or you send them a better cam to use to their home, then nothing is going to change this situation. Sorry if this is too simplistic of a resolution, but unfortunately every company is only out for the bottom line these days, and unless an all-out boycott is in place, the shit-cams are here to stay. I would not want a boy-cott, since all the models with shit cams need the work, so just be supportive and hope for better days for them :thumbsup

I agree with comments about cams in open room,but that is not the problem I had, I went pvt with a couple of models and then when in pvt the cam feed was interrupted and then froze,several times-by the time it was visible again after several attempts to refresh,most of the time had been used. Yes I know you can get a refund of a little of the time spent!, but that does not help the models...and of course so many rooms no longer give opportunity to tip any more which is the subject in another feed. As long as we keep paying for pvts,then you are right nothing will be done to improve anything................

Rox, this make sence.
In open rooms everybody can see or a cam at that time is ok. But that's indeed not the problem. The problem is as you say- the cams who fail in pvt time. That happens to many times to be acceptable in my opinion.
The fact that that no more happens to me- is because I have my own way to help models who I like- without using Flirt. Any member can find out the way how he or she can do this, I don't have to explane.
As I told before- I only stay on Flirt to protest against the in my opinion scandalous way Flirt treats members and models. How many times do I have to repeat for to many members that Flirt pays the studios- and not the way around, so it's Flirt who decides for what they are paying for.
And after all- we decide for what we pay Flirt- or not, yes indeed.
But I must repeat- I have more compassion with the models than with members who seem to think that this is all normall. Besides- we are rich compairing to them, and they have no opportunety to protest against the RIGHTLESS way they are treaten. Seksworkers in those countrys are worse off than in anny other country in the western world, male or female.
Rox, in my opinion you are absolutely right.
Besides: WE DON'T NEED FlIRT TO HAVE A LIFE- FLIRT NEED US FOR THEM TO SUVIVE!
IF we need Flirt to have a life- than we don't have a life! I have no doubt about that at all.
And yes- if we want changes, than we have to take consistencys out of this, there is no other way in my opinion, that's for sure as far as I can see.

If we are talking about problems with the video feed which occur in private but not in open room, rather than the actual quality of the images, then it seems to me that we are not talking about camera problems at all. The camera is doing the same job in private as it does in open room
A slow Internet connection can cause the type of problem which Rox describes, but the most likely cause is the Flirt4Free software
There are steps we can all take to reduce the possiblity of problems in private :
1. Make sure we are using the latest version of Java;
2. Use Mozilla Firefox, rather than Internet Explorer (Flirt4Free recommends Firefox);
3. Before going private, delete temporary files and temporary Internet files;
4. Before going private, restart Firefox;
5. Before going private, suspend all other applications;
6. In private, choose medium video size rather than large or extra large (the image quality will be better)
Taking these steps of course won't guarantee the perfect private, but will certainly improve your chances

Many times you can see in open rooms a bad cam. Many times you see an instable and- or a bad image, than you can understand that will be in pvt the same busyness with those cams, no doubt about that at all.
I have the latest version of Java and the latest version of Mozilla on my computer- they automatic update, besides that- do I have a fast computer- which is an almost new one, and a fast internet connection, and I did always chose medium size video. So ourjeffie- it's not the quallety of my computer or my internet connection.
No ourjeffie, it's still Flirt who simply doesn't deliver us for what we pay, and there is no excuse for- whatever you or anybody else say.
It's still robbery and cheating, and that has to stop- if they want me to do pvt again or maybe not quit my membership in future.
But- again you'r defending Flirt.

ourjeffie, if this is thru what you say about the software, can you tell me why they don't do anything Babout that problem?
I tell you they don't care, because they had time anough to do it.
All the mony they spend on that so called new vidio system is real bulshit as long as we still are fat up with the still existing shit cams- as I call them.
And that makes them in my opinion just only robbers and cheaters. And for the way they treat the models- our seksworkers, by their rules about fining and changing e-mail addresses and cutting the tipping, I realy have no good word for.
A lot of those models belong to the porest of their country, that's why they do this work, work you never ever do want to do by your son or daughter if you have them. But they only try to survive and or try to work and study in a very hostyle clamate without almoste any sociall welfare we know, only corruption everywhere and in everything.
So ourjeffie- stop defending Flirt and take position on the right site my friend.

Keep flooding Flirt with complaints then, because the cams are going to show the same image whether its in free or private room. Its the software for sure if everything runs just fine until you do go into a private show.
Glad to hear that some has found ways to help their favs too, because it really is sad that the site isn't fixing things to encourage more shows for models. I'm sure they will get serious about fixing these issues when they start losing money over time from them and as for the tipping, I have a feeling they won't be adding it in the new software since they don't seem to have the balls to say anything on the forum topic.
Do what you can for those you care about. Flirt will only lose more in end for not doing enough on their end.

Yes- we can help models without Flirt, and if we do all and stop doing pvt- Flirt will soon know that this is serious for us, and they will have to do somethinh about the software if they want to survive. And indeed they have no balls, but we knew that already before.

all of us here wish we could change things for the better for those models we have come to care for. Flirt's technical staff won't just admit that their software is full of bugs, nor will they respond in the way they really need to----get better software in place. As for these forums, I remember a time when members could share their experiences here and F4F staff would respond to inquiries and questions rather quickly. Now it seems they have more time to write idiotic blogs than just answer 10 forum threads. Hell, just lie to me and make me feel better :smoking

ourjeffie, it seems that we are agree that Flirt legally rob and cheat us, but still I have my doudts how leagall that all is. In my opinion- you have to get for what you pay, thats all. Flirt makes a robbingbusiness out of this by letting us pay for what we many times don't get.
If thats not robbing and cheating- what els is?.
If you love to be treaten like that al the time than go on with it and be happy, nobody can stop you.

Give the people bread and play- one Roman emperor once spoke. Maybe the owners of Flirt think that they are the latest version of those emperors. But now these days the people is spoled and they always want the latest versions of the plays and toys- bread they already have anough, and they want no longer see all the blood from the poor victims. It seems that Flirt has no idea or can understand about that- or maybe they still want to ignore it and think that we are all stupid and they only want to rob our pockets- because that's what we are for. And maybe they still live in the time of the old emperors. Anyway- I agree with you that it seems that they have no balls anough to answer the forem threads. Shamefull and disgusting in my opinion!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

As long as they refuse this- than they are robbers and cheaters.
And they still refuse, because it's only a case of investment by the studios who work for Flirt- and nothing els. Technical no problem at all- only a case of willing.
How many times do I have to repeat: Flirt pays those studios- so Flirt decides for what they are paying for, and not the way around.
Why is that so difficult for you to undestand this? That's is no more than usual in any other busyness, so why shouldn't that be in this one. Absolutely crasy.

Our Jeffie. the things you recommend to do before going private are accepting that there is basically something wrong with your comp, when in fact we know it is the system currently being run by the f4f. Yesterday as I have written in another thread, I took 30mns pvt with a model from SPB--8 MNS of that pvt was spent trying to get the video to run,the chat line from freezing and despite trying to log out from the room by both the model and I we could not do it,although the clock continued to tick away, funny how that never freezes?
