Oh wow.

What a terrible story.

Well, you know what, let me take this chance, then, to plug my favorite model here. His name is Norris Wilson and he is the friendliest and sexiest model I have met yet here at f4f.

I took him to private for 10 minutes. The show was absolutely awesome, and sensual, and sexy.

I am willing to bet that most models treat customers as objects to be USED and DISCARDED, judging from the stories I have read, and have heard about, in these very forums.

A week ago I would have disagreed with you and others...

I think most of what I would say has been said before so I'll be (uncharacteristically) brief. One point that probably needs to be kept in mind both with respect to guests and performers is that if the dominant language here is English, some folks are less able just to natter away in it than a native speaker, like me. By contrast, since my Spanish is virtually nil, when I see that the conversation in a room is mainly Spanish, I'll gracefully withdraw, especially when the conversation seem to be going swimmingly. Plenty of the Spanish-speaking performers do fine in English too, of course, but it just seems courteous not to barge in in English.

Second, and in response to the rude experiences related here (I've had a few myself, I admit, but on some occasions it's out of character and I figure the poor guy is just having a bad day), not once but twice tonight, and once yesterday, performers thanked me specifically for keeping the conversation lively in their rooms. One even said--perhaps just being polite of course--that he had been hoping I would come on because....well he didn't say the conversation was dragging, but he plainly was conveying that message without wanting to hurt anybody's feelings. I was frankly rather blown away, and extremely flattered of course (even allowing for exaggeration or skillful stroking), aince I think I'm more often guilty of talking too much and hogging the floor.

As I'm doing again now, so I'll leave it at that.

I couldn't have said it better myself....some people are engaging and have lots of conversation because of who they are (like me) the silence on part of certain members is because they are bouncing from room to room or just sitting waiting for the model to get frustrated and do like all the not so good models and put on a free show.

I never put on a free show because I never had to. If people don't want to talk then it's time to log off...otherwise my room was and will be again ... always a party full of conversation and private shows.

Ahh im so sorry u guys are having some bad expirince with models!! Some like me are new at this and need some time to get the hang of it. I love to chat with the people that visit me..god i ask so many questions, i wonder if they get annoyed!! I too recently had an encounter like Pete is quoting. I stopped in the models room and said hello, and shortly later was asked if I wanted to pvt. I replied that I could not go that day and the model said nearly the same thing. I stayed around for a bit longer and he asked me why I was staying and I told him I wanted to see if he was someone I would like to get to know. Also I said that I was not asking to see anything or asking anything of him. His reaction was interesting, he did not get mad, said a few things about people always asking for things in open room, but then logged off without saying anymore. Now I'm no stranger to privates as my credit card can testify :orglaugh

, but I do have my favorite guys and usually try to spend my credits in their rooms. Also the frustration of spending many hours in a room without getting someone to pvt you is understandable to me, so no hard feelings. But you aren't going to become a new favorite guy for me like that. Best wishes to him though, he shall remain nameless here.

When you are paying 6 bucks a minute or what would amount to 360 an hour for a virtual experience the models have to realize that the customer wants to see if they will be compatable with the model in private. If you watch the model, the body language, how they interact with others in the room, you get a feel for the personality. I understand the model's impatience to go private,

Do you really want to know why many guests prefer to remain quiet I will tell you why! I just left the open room of a model, who shall remain nameless, and here was the dialogue:

Model: Hi Trent
Trent: hello
Model: How are you?
Trent: I am good, thnx...and you?
Model: ASm good too. Wanna have some fun action in pvt?

I believe he is new; this was the first time I was visiting his room. First of all, I personally don't like being called BB, and secondly, I resent being hustled, especially when he never even gave me the slightest chance to get to know him. I feel no choice, therefore, than to join the ranks of the quiet people in the shadows. BTW, I am a regular privater.

I hope this answers the question of the model who started this thread.

But see the thing is some of us models are on the majority of our day, sitting there waiting for members to talk which doesn't happen frequently. so therefore when someone does actually talk then we jump on it. i look at it like this, if you don't talk your not interested. or your looking for a free show.
its also irritating how many people i get who come into my room and say take of your underwear , show me your cock, so on so fourth. this isnt easy to deal with but of course we have to just let it go. its a little irritating when i see certain people sitting in my room hours on end saying not one word, also if you decided not to talk and didnt wanna go private because you wanted to know him better why didnt you just say can i get to know you better first please? then go from there. which gives the model some hope and that your not just wanting a free show

My reaqsons as a customer are very simple. I'm somewhat shy (not VERY shy, just somewhat). But I do know how to say hello. several times now I've said hello and either been ignored by a model who looked bored, or as yesterday, came into a room with chatting going on. I said hello and asked a simple question about his moniker. I received a curt, one-word answer to my question not really answering the question at all, and not even a hello. I watched for a few minutes and he never stopped looking bored. Nor did he ever address me again. won't be visiting him again. I'm finding too many models acting like that.

I keep reading models asking why there isn't more chatting and customers coming into rooms and staying silent. Then they propose all sorts of reasons having to do with the customers. Look to your own behaviour before finding answers in our behaviour.

BTW, some of the more rude models are some of the more popular ones. I frequently find that the popular models are so busy talking with their regulars that they simply can't be bothered welcoming a new customer. well if they're happy with the clientele base they already have without building on it, go ahead and be rude, but you create a bad rep for the rest of the models. I'm now afraid to introduce myself to the more popular models. Is this the environment you all wish to create?

There are models and there are models. Some are very friendly (for me, it's usually the ones I do not want to take to 'private'), whilst others just switch off if you do not 'private' them within the first minute.

I will usually say hello but only if I intend to linger in a room. Otherwise I just quietly leave.

If I do like a model I like to get to know them a little before going to private. I just like to know if we get on and if we can communicate.

What I really do not like is those models who have a room full of 'boyfriends' dominating proceedings. Neither the model, nor the so-called boyfriends are particularly welcoming to a new visitor. Nor does the atmosphere encourage a new vistor to hang around or even to try to join the chat. It is BORING.

I guess the model reckons he stands far more of a chance of making a quick $�$� with someone that thinks that they are in love with them, rather than a new visitor. Well these models are wrong and are missing a lot of trade. A lot of us simply cannot stand these rooms and just hang around long enough to laugh at some of the over-the-top exchanges between the 'lovers'.

There seems to be a lot more of this sort of thing happening at F4F recently. I wish it would just stop.

greek you have a good point here but not all the rooms are like this. certain models have fanatic members so to speak:d but you are more than welcome in other rooms where models chat with all nice people that ask decent questions in freechat! whenever u come to my room u dont need to feel like you are interrupting something if you see me talk to some of my friends! you can be one of them too and who knows maybe u can become friend with one of the members also!

I seriously hope it's alright to continue with this thread even though it's been awhile since anyone has replied to it. I just signed up this weekend and was going through here to see what's available. Although I just signed up Friday, almost every room I went in the model asked to pvt. I was like, uh....one couple even banned me from their room for not going pvt! I mean, wth? lol.

There was one model Kevin James, who seems to be really nice. From what I saw, he chats with his watchers and makes you feel welcome. That experience countered the bad from the previous example.

As far as not talking, I usually don't do that either. But recently it was because I was watching cams and getting sources for my research paper that's due on Tuesday lmao. I can't help it. I love vouyerism haha. :orglaugh
