hmmm..you are right to one extent essex..but being shy is one thing and being unpolite is another.i know there are shy members and that is ok..damn i am shy too sometimes..but they talk to other models..i know it sounds egocentric and somkind like an envy stuf...but all i wanna say SOME members should observe their own behaviour before complaining about us not talking in freechat!cheer up guy!

But I also know that some new models read the forums, or some members may be reading here who don't like to talk at first and may get worried about visiting new models. So just trying to offer an open explanation as to why it happens sometimes.

I would love to see more people talking in chat.

I love having a full room of people all talking and someone takes me for a show just to get to know me better.

When a member or NOT a member comes into a room is is like entering some ones else home,

living room,elevator,sharing a seat,making a line or sharing a small space the right thing

to do is to at least say hello,hi,how are you?,how is it going?,do you mind if I observe?,

busy to day? or just good morning (afternoon or evening). :winkwink

It is a matter of education and basic manners very few apply. :angel

Besides..how can a model interact and have a fun room if no one says anything???? :guitar

I only just figured out this evening after being a member for several weeks now that the forums even exist, but now I see they do, I'll check back often. And thanks, Essexboy, for always posting such intriguing questions to get the threads going. I don't often seem to be on when you are (I'm in the middlewestern US) but I'll make it a point to drop by when I see you, since you are plainly an interesting guy.

I confess I sometimes don't stick around and say hi when I enter a room where the conversation seems to be roaring along already and I don't feel like barging in. Also, if it's going on in a language I'm not at home in (yes, I know Americans tend to be linguistic idiots, but so far I haven't encountered any conversations here in Japanese which I could manage just fine thank you) I will tend to leave so as not to make people shift gears. That would seem to me even ruder than making a quiet exit.

I agree, however, that it's rude just to lurk.

Viking, I'm with you when it comes to the point about wanting the performers to be enjoying themselves, and wanting to know more how to do that with individuals. I have my tastes, and they're pretty decided at my advanced age, but I would never dream of demanding that anybody else share them. There are enough great guys on here who seem to be happy to share with me!
