I have seen the rules
Ronnie, your friend Adam Foxx purports to be conversant with the rules. Perhaps you could ask him if a second person is allowed in a solo performer's room
Hi Jeffie.

While I would never claim to be an expert on the rules, I do try to give my best effort to stay abreast of the rules & regs, so to speak, as they do change from time to time and I'm not one to personally enjoy breaking rules (bending sure...grin...but not break). I don't know the specifics of this particular case, so I can only speak in generalities. And also, I should be clear, that I only speak from my experience as a model in the United States, as rules are slightly different depending on what country one lives in. That said, VS/Flirt is a US-based company, and must comply with the laws of this country to the best of their ability. Those caveats declared, here goes....
In the porn industry (which for our purposes here, does include cam work), each performer is required to fill out what is known as a Compliance Data Intake Form 2257. This legal form lists the performer legal name, stage name, date of initial performance (which is typically the date the form is filled out for legal purposes), and includes verified documentation indicating that a performer is of the age of majority to perform in such a capacity (AKA--shows that the performer is 18 years of age or older). This can be from a list of documents including an identification card, driver's license, passport, etc. From this, along with some other documentation (which is too involved for the purposes of this thread), a "model record" for the performer is created at VS. This is done for 3 main reasons: It protects VS. It protects the performer. And it protects our valued members. This creates a "paper trail" that a "good-faith" effort has been conducted to prove the model's eligibility to work in such a capacity and that all interested parties are in compliance with the law. Still with me? Good.
This model record is a SOLO MODEL RECORD. As such, ONLY 1 performer can be associated with that model record and ONLY the registered performer with that solo model record can work under that log-in identity. NO OTHER PERFORMER can "make an appearance" either by himself/herself or as a "duo"/"trio" under a SOLO MODEL RECORD. EVERY SINGLE TIME that model logs in, he/she must both agree to the sites rules (and by extension that he/she will follow them) and also sign (in lay terms) "a contract" laying out a whole list of legal terms and agreements. No need to go into all of that as there's no need to. Bottom line: Models know the rules.

Again, this is to protect VS, to protect the model and to protect you, our valued members.
When you see duos and trios on the site, without going into all of the details, each duo or trio has a UNIQUE log-in...which results, naturally, in a UNIQUE bio page that you, our members, see on your side of things. Logically & accurately, say Model X & Model Y have a duo together--ONLY Model X & Y can perform together on that DUO MODEL RECORD/LOG-IN. Model Z can not suddenly decide to join in on the fun, because Model Z is not associated with that MODEL RECORD. If Model Z wants to join in the fun, he/she will need to contact his/her Flirt/VS representation and have a TRIO MODEL RECORD/LOG-IN created, so that the 3 models can have fun together on cam. Still with me? haha
When a model is logged in as a SOLO MODEL on a SOLO MODEL RECORD/Log-in, and suddenly a second person appears on that cam, it is a violation of Flirt's rules and regulations. More importantly, it puts VS/Flirt (potentially) in a bad position legally, because that second person may or may not be of the age of majority. That puts not only VS in a bad position, it also can have serious ramifications for the models and conceivable members (although the latter is seriously unlikely from my point of view...I'm just extending the variables out to the logical conclusion). The "argument" can be made: "Well both models already have solo accounts, so what is the big deal if they appear together on a solo account?" The "big deal" is that 1) It violates Flirt's/VS' rules & regulations that again, each model signs EVERY SINGLE TIME he/she signs onto cam (I like to believe that honor is a nice thing to have no matter one's industry of employment) and 2) since there is not a "duo model record," there is not a record of "production" for that duo show--and thus in violation of the law.
When such events unfortunately occur, Flirt/VS CORRECTLY removes those VODs from being able to be viewed again. To be clear--they have made the CORRECT decision to remove it!!! Doing so protects ALL interested parties. Some will inevitably say, "But that's not true Adam Foxx, I have a VOD where Model X and Model Y were performing on Model X's account and it's never been removed you big liar you!"

Think of it this way: EVERY SINGLE BUSINESS ON EARTH has limited resources--that's a basic business tenant. As such, Flirt/VS has finite financial resources to employ monitors. The number of monitors is unimportant to this discussion, but common sense & business sense would tell you that there is not a monitor watching every single member and every single model at every single second of the day. That would be completely impractical & bad business, besides. However, I can assure you, that when a VS employee discovers such a show, that person will swiftly remove that VOD from being able to be watched again--and more than likely have a discussion with both the model(s) in question and the associated studio from which the models work. Again, to be crystal clear, this is NOT NOT NOT done to be mean or anything negative--it is done to protect ALL interested parties, so we can continue to enjoy Flirt for many, many, many years to come.
I hope this clears up the confusion. I hope you gentlemen have a wonderful day/evening wherever each of you may be located. (hugs)
