So I havn't been doing this for long but I noticed there isn't very many threads in here... I have also found that when I am online that I get alot of people in my room but nobody talks... In fact the main ones that do talk are not registered members... So I was wondering if mabye I am doing something wrong?? Or I just don't have the look for doing this

Is it me, or is it something about the guys talking with the male models?? Just curious what you guys like to hear from the models? I try to say Hi to everyone that comes into my room but that doesn't seem to help... Any thoughts??

alot of times these guys stay unoticed and just come in to look at you and hear you ect. If they see or hear something they like, they may start talking or even just take you private. But trust me we all get the room filled from time to time when nobody talks. Just the nature of the business.

Hi Shamuse , it does take a bit of time to get bedded in here I think , and no matter how long you have been here I think there will always be guys who may not want to chat ( or just not chat at that time ) . Next time I see ya online I will drop by and say Hi.

It's always quiet in my room, but I'm hardly ever on so I dont have a following like some of you guys do. My g/f is Kate Fox, a model here, and she's the big Porn Star of the household, lol... she tries giving me some pointers but even she admits that its a whole different ballgame for the guys. Like someone else said- the greys are the ones who chat me up- the white and golds lurk.

We're hoping to get a laptop soon, b/c right now we only have one desktop so it's hard for both of us to work. I have a day job in addition to this, so hence why I'm not really on all that much.

But, as Shamus said- any pointers would help big -time. Help a couple fellas out here, wouldja?

Been getting better but the greys are the biggest talkers which is good at least someone is talking... lol Did have a nice visit from Ms Brown though although Im still trying to figure out which one she was :thumbsup

Yeah I do Alex,

I have such a lovely bunch of regulars that if I can't get on gor a day I feel I am missing out by not chatting to them!

Matt and Shamuse give it time, regular hours and dedication. Remember ESP (Eyes Smile and Personality) and you will get a group of members who are always there for you.

Some customers prefer anonymity from other VIP's or registered members and also want to "feel you" and see how you interact with others.If you have quiet crowds it is not a bad thing. :winkwink

When you don't have any then start to worry.

Just say something funny or crazy to make them interact like:" Hey guys!! Why so quiet? Are we at a funeral or something? Come on!! Wake up..." (Try not to mention nicknames just in case..) :bulb

Humor and friendliness are the best ways to attract people to chat.... :drinkup

Then your chances of privates increase 100%. :guitar

hunny, i often see the same faces every nite that NEVER talk to me. But once in a while one of them joins a convo when it interests them. Honestly thing ESP
eyes smile and personality. Be yourself. People can tell when your smile is forced. shoot, if u need a convo starter in ur room let me know and i will cum in as my member name. i dont shut up. lol

A customer's 2 cents worth: I'm not a great conversationalist but I WILL chat if the room is friendly. I WON'T chat or stay if the performer looks bored and disinterested (I had one performer reply when I asked him to smile. "It's hard to smile when nothing's funny" -I left and never went back). I agree =eyes, smile, and personality. But I think the most important thing is have fun, be yourself (unless you're bored and grouchy), and INTERACT WITH THE CUSTOMER! I'd rather not toot someone's horn, but since you've asked .......... one performer who can keep a room FULL of clients laughing and chatting is Cable. Berk is another. They both constantly chat and interact with their clients whether someone's taking them private or not. Both Cable and Berk PLAY with their clients.

Oh, BTW, IMHO, there's one thing that will shut everyone up: a performer constantly asking anyone who says anything if they'll go private. That stops people from saying anything because they don't want to get hit up. I know you only make money when you go Pvt, but charm us and we will, eventually if not right then. I had to chat with Cable about 4 times before I took him Pvt. Same with Berk. Some people want to actually LIKE you.

And WHERE can I find LouisPhillippe on cam? Or photos? Or videos? Anything?

I agree where can I find Louis on cam? That pic is out of this world, and he has such a great way in the chat room. Having a happy friendly chat room has always been my aim and having fab members there really helps.

All us performers have down times, so on behalf of all of us please make sure you give everyone a second chance. We are only human at the end of the day. At the end of a very long and very quiet shift many people may look or feel down in the dumps. I so so hope that nobody has left my room feeling that it wasn't worth the visit, as does anyone else, but sometimes it's impossible not to.

One of the great things about getting to know a cam model is that you get t know the real them, so forgive them (if you can and it is rare) if every now and then theyaren't on top form.

On the plus side, if you as a member ever are feeling down, then pop by. I love a natter (chat for you non-english) get what it is off your chest and let the party mood in my room cheer you up. Or share your problems to put a smile on your face!

The grays have no problem chatting because they aren't going to private you anyway,(no Credits.) :mad

They'll just ask you to: "show this, or that,stand up,seat down,toes,arm pits,

lava ya

men,how big is it,boxers or briefs,pose,dick,flex,...etc.etc."... :mad

Any registered member is assumed and expected to not only have credits but to take the

models private (even when he/she is NOT really interested in that particular model

..)

There is such a thing as voyeurs and guys clients trying to "feel you" so to speak,

and see if you "hit" them the right way... :angel

( Both puns intended..)

We have analyzed and beaten to a pulp that subject for several years in the VIP threads

and the result? :evil

I imagine I'm one of the guys who tends to be really chatty, and no doubt to excess--I suspect it's possible that when I get going I may crowd others out (I should watch that). I'm a pretty fast typist, too. So I doubt that I would generally be classified as a lurker. But when I come into a room where there are a number of folks present (whether grey or white or gold) I try to sit back for a few and see where the conversation is going before barging in. If it's really quiet I may either try to liven it up or, if I'm not feeling especially brilliant, withdraw and go elsewhere. And frankly there are guys, if I come into their room for the first time, just aren't my type and I don't feel like I should waste their time, so I'll leave. I am one of those people, as several other folks have remarked, who don't like to have every remark I make or question I ask be answered by "go pvt" because I do like to know people a bit first. At the same time I realize that I risk wasting a performer's time by just settling in a chatting. Admittedly I'm guilty of it sometimes, when the conversation is really interesting, or if I'm just too starry eyed with the host in the room to tear myself away. In general, I would say that I sometimes come here just to interact with other gay or bi guys, since I live in a small town where I can't go down to the local gay bar to do it over a beer, so a conversationally lively room is something I seek out.....Oh. I see I'm running off at the mouth again. Sorry. I guess that's more than two cents worth. P.S. Essexboy, I hate it that I never seem to be online at the same time as you--your posts on the forums are always so interesting, I'm sure I'd enjoy your room. Oh, well.
