I am relatively new to this also - I have only been on a couple of nights so far and I've had a lot of fun. What I've found is it works best when you just be yourself and people will naturally take you private when the time is right. Although no one wants to waste their own time or that of anyone else in the room, having some boundaries of what you are prepared to do in open chat and private chat is very important.

No one wants to feel pushed or pressured to do anything but enticing someone is different

It seems important to relax and enjoy an have an open mind with customers requests goes a long way. A VIP member asked me if I smoked and I said only when after quite a few drinks. He then said that he found it a turn on and before I knew it he'd left. I had never considered it a turn on myself but others may and it's something in hindsight I would've been prepared to do.
