You're right, we haven't had the week 3/24 - 3/30 yet. However, the models have been picked dating back to the beginning of the year, so we already have several winners lined up.

I did not mean 3/17 - 3/23; I meant 3/24 - 3/30.

No, this this is not really rigged, but I appreciate the benefit of the doubt and your earnest concern

Yes ourjeffie, I am also confused about this statement from VS Jeff "the models have been picked dating back to the beginning of the year, so we already have several winners lined up"

I seem to recall we were informed about this promotion under the General Discussion thread on March 18th 2008 Model of the Week Promotion and I quote from that thread :-

"For 2008, we are introducing a new contest - Model of the Week! This contest will reward one male and one female performer, per week. Winners will be selected randomly from a pool that fits the following criteria:" etc etc.

The terminology "we are introducing" and "will be selected" implies to me a future event but we are now informed models have been selected from the start of the year. Did the models know about this? None had mentioned it as far as I am aware. We are now in week 13 of 2008 - how many have achieved this so far and when will this weeks achiever of the criteria be informed and announced - June/July?

Picking up on a comment you made previously, ourjeffie, I agree the criteria for MOW is especially difficult for the many models who work here to fund their study.

BTW has the winner of the St Patick's day promotion been announced? Or will that be on St George's day

As of March 18th, the first week of winners were still not finalized, and the first week of the contest did not begin. Ergo, there is no semantics issue of using "we are introducing" and "will be selected" referring to a future occurrence, as it did not take place yet.

Yes, the models knew about this.

There is a buffer to ensure that the pending winners have enough time to accept/decline and send in their interview questions. Having no buffer and having a weekly contest would have led to disaster from the get-go. I am sorry if you disagree with this, but this is a necessity to ensure there is no hitch in model participation with a weekly contest. Otherwise I would expect many "So who's the MOW?"-esque threads/emails/phone calls

The data disagrees with you, as many models are hitting the criteria - and by many, I mean a large number of unique models, not the same ones over-and-over again.

Yes, the St Patrick's Day winner was announced. There was a news update, and a current thread in the General Discussion forum posted last week.

only because Stefano has the time to work the 30 hours. I know an incredible model that simply cannot put in that much time, although he easily meets the 180 minutes in private criteria each week. It's a good thing we all have different taste is models ... or a lot of them wouldn't make any money.

Are we going to see Stefano awarded MOW every week from now on? LOL
I mean to say, it is a known fact, even amongst the models themselves, that when it comes to Stefano there is no competition. He rules!

Nothing new to officially report, but stay tuned for more contests and other added site features.

Each male and female model is allowed to win once every 3 months (once every quarter). Stefano is a great model, you will have no argument from me, but Flirt has a lot of other great models that you may or may not have chatted with yet. Please look forward to the upcoming MOW winners to see our wide array
