Meanwhile, a short jog in spacetime over... the lost legion had finally penetrated the Kush. But things were going badly.

MegaCock: GARRRRRRRRRHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!

Centurion: Go to testudo. For Jupiter's sake TESTUDO!

MegaCock: MEGACOCK NO STOPPED BY TESTUDO, I AVER BY THE GREAT RIGID SPEAR OF ODIN!

Jasmine: rrrrrrrr I love feeling kinda hornie while watching you cock smite the lost legion.

Centurion: Crap crap CRAP! Loose formation... velites forward.

MegaCock: BURRRRRP. MMMMMMMM TASTY JAVELINES PUNY ONE.

Jasmine: OMG...

Centurion: Spare my men. Let us duel to the death for the victory.

MegaCock: NO DEAL! IT'S AN ORGY!!!!!!!

Jasmine: ooooooooooooooooooooo (fainting away)

And so the lost legion valiantly went to the Elysian fields... though a little splattered and walking funny.

But never underestimate the reach and determination of Rome. Years later in the bl00dy sands of the Colosseum stands a group of gladiators before the Emperor. They have smashed a group of mounted professionals backed by the Emperor... thanks to the leadership of a tall, vaguely puce colored unknown wearing a groucho mask and a red cape. Because of the mustache and heavy eyebrows of the groucho mask they call him Spaniard.

Emperor: Take off your mask Spaniard that all may know who today's hero is.

Spaniard: No way jose. *turns his back on the Emperor and strides back toward his cell*

Emperor: Slave! You dare turn your back on me!?! Take off your mask or I will execute you on the spot!

Spaniard nee Megacock: *taking off his mask* I AM MEGACOCK. SLAYER OF THE LOST LEGION. BIGGEST BONER THIS SIDE OF THE RUBICON. OWNER OF ROMANS. ENVY OF GAULS. AND BY THE SPLINTERY SHAFT OF THE VALFATHER I SHALL HAVE MY VENGEANCE!!!!

Jasmine: *way up in the nosebleed section * Huuuuuunnnnnnnnnnnnhhhhhh Woof. You got it buster.

Emperor: *staggering back a little* No! It can't be! They told me you'd been made a castrinii.

Megacock: *in deep bass* EMPERORINO... A CENAR TECO... MI'INVITASTI... E SON VENUTO

The crowd meanwhile was loving every minute of it. They chanted their adoration of MegaCock and demanded he be spared.

Emperor: *with upraised thumb* You know what this thumb really means for you, you rubbery freak. The next time we meet it will be your death.

The giant disembodied cock blew kisses to the crowd as he strutted proudly back to his cell. Knowing that one day he would get his chance to bring down the Emperor.

The pit... the pit... the dismal pit. Solitary torment for the poor gladiator. Hung on high for rebuking the mighty. Came before an Emperor with silver pail.

*SLOOOOOOOSH* Yon pail doth vomit forth ice. Ice to the left. Ice to the right. Ice on the poor cock's cleft. Ice far above. Ice far below. Ice in the Emperor's heart.

And now did shrink the mighty cock. Recoiling against the affront of the terrible cold. Shrinkage! Vile inevitable shrinkage. Mortal disaster on pecker befallen...

Are you entertained you heartless bastards... well are you? One poor cock, barely out of his boyhood, is about to give all for you. There was a story once that was Rome... with wavy fields of grain... the light of civilization... surrounded by barbarians... who knew how to do the Egypteeyan.

MEGACOCK! MEGACOCK! Chanted most of the Colosseum crowd. SPANIARD! SPANIARD! Chanted the people from Napoli. EMPEROR! EMPEROR! Chanted some paid informants in the crowd. ASTERIX! OBELISK! Chanted some gauls in attendance.

Out staggered the heroic cock, quieting the suddenly tearful crowd. Shrunk and chafed. Battered and blue.

Out strutted one Emperor in somehow efeminate silver armor. The battle began but outcome decided before starting. The emperor was a pussy. Even shrunk the fierce puce champion would slay him. The praetorians knew the end was coming and blocked the battle from outsiders by forming a shield ring.

Pail treachery was not enough to forestall the inevitable and a silver clad body fell unloved onto the bl00dy sand floor of the arena.

MegaCock... mortally stricken... clung to life as all with bated ears did strain to hear his final words...

FREE ALL THE GLADIATORS! ADD OLIVE OIL LUBE TO THE DAILY GRAIN DOLE! NO MORE TIGHT PANTALOONS BUT ONLY AIRY TOGAS! KEEP ALIVE THE GLORY THAT IS ROME!

And with those heroic last orders given as life ebbed from him... down fell MegaCock in death to the grief stricken howls of all his fans.

fwip fwip fwap...

The skies of Peru darken as the Love Vulture takes flight...

The Vultarian Order is out in force today. It is their red letter day. Not a peep has been heard from Team Banzai in months. It is not a good time to be vulnerable this day.

The Prophecy is that some Valentine's Day order will be restored. But for now, best to keep to the straight and narrow. Keep it simple. Keep it quick.

I am wishing you all the best of luck... as I observe above the fray. There are more pits to avoid falling into this day than even in the Manchu catacombs. Those of you who have not trained your chest sinews to be steel as we of the Enlightened I can only suggest a talon proof breast plate and some beak guards.

Old man: *poke poke* Ayuh... takes time for a row to bear fruit. Lotta work.

Freddy Fidget: C'mon C'mon! We can't be here all day! I shouldn't have stopped the car.

Old man: That's how it is with you youngsters. Always rushing about. Don't know where you are going or where you've been.

Freddy Fidget: (on phone) No and it's taking forever. You know how he gets.

Old man: *poke poke* There'll likely be beetles here afor' too long.

Freddy Fidget: (pacing back and forth) lezzee if we skip dinner I bet we can make it there in two hours.

Old man: *poke poke* An' the way this sod is a'crumblin' I imagine this'll have to lay fallow next season... ayup.

Freddy Fidget: OK that's it! Pack it in. Time to hit the road.

SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And the fast moving shadow of a great beaked freak tore through the fallow field and one cardigen clad tyrant's heart was ripped from out his chest. The old man nimbly dived and managed to escape the simultaneous clutch of darts fired from automatic air rifles by white cowled maniacs on motor bikes. This was a carefully planned hit.

The old man turned a single mischevous eye toward the waiting sidecar of the cowled legion as he rose out of the dirt. As he peeled off his tattered bath robe and revealed a very nicely cleaned, almost gleaming, white cowl underneath.

His brethren bowed slightly as he squatted into the waiting side car of the lead bike.

Old man: (looking at the convulsing wreck that was his son) Mebbe it is time to put him in a home. bwaaaaa haaaaa haaaaaa haaaaaaa

The Order man. It is coming together.

I am Dudley. I AM Dudley. I am Dudley.

I am singing a song. The lyrics don't matter. At all.

If I sing it once you can sing it too.

Hap. Hap. P.

Joy! Joy!

Hap. hap HAP. hap hap happity hap hap haaaaaaaaap

PPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP!

JOY!!!!! JOY!!!!!!

I learned this song from a cartoon. Do you like cartoons?

I must go now. But not into Oblivion. There is no light here. Except my night light.

I will think about all these things we have seen together as I rub my toes on the comforter.

I will wear one sock with holes in it. One toe will stick out as I rub the comforter.

I will be awake for about ten minutes and then go into deep REM sleep.

People say I snore. But I don't know. I have never woken up and said "good job you have woken up from snoring"

I am not worried about sliding into Oblivion in the night. It is called induction. I didn't do that many many times before.

Sometimes I dream. Many times I feel good about my dream. I think: "how clever". But sometimes they make me sad. They say: "Something's chasing you and it is almost caught up to you" I think Stephen King has that dream a lot.

Now, there are five people, who have posted in this thread. I'm not a regular, and daily drinker, and I only drink on special occasions. I like Stephen King's books as it's one author, who I read, but I think most of the movie adaptations from his books are bad. I think there are only five movie adaptations from his books are really good.
